Kansas City MO/ July 28, 2020/ 3:00 PM / Operation LeGand is a Federal program that infused Federal Assets from FBI, Marshalls, ATF and other agencies to assist Kansas City Police Department. The effort has sent 225 assets to assist. This Operation will expand to other areas like Chicago and Albuquerque. The groups assembled have demanded specific actions be taken. Interesting note: Some organizations have nothing to do with BLM protest. Sunrise Movement is a Climate based group.
SITREP: More Federal forces are showing up in US cities.
RECOMMENDATION: As more Federal and State forces are used to keep peace in major cities, the likelihood that protests will become violent, more curfews will be ordered or restrictions on movements will increase. The election year status will only spurn protesters on all sides.
