SIGACT: Workers are protesting having to return to work as they are currently earning more from unemployment and new federal programs .
RECOMMENDATION: Continue to monitor local media reports of protest actions involving various causes. Do not rely on a federal program to supplement your income. The election in Nov is preventing significant progress from being made inside Congress.

RECOMMENDATION: International organizations are quickly losing credibility with the hyper-politicization of protests. Do not rely on their reports for objective information gathering or analysis of police actions.
LITTLE ROCK, AR/ 04 August 20/ Names of teachers put on gravestones at COVID-19‘die-in’ protests.
SIGACT: Little Rock teachers are demanding school remain closed and hosted a “die-in” at an elementary school by placing tombstones with teacher’s names and what they were “killed by."
RECOMMENDATION: Prepare for alternatives to public schooling as many districts are relying on increasingly histrionic behavior to protest schools reopening.

HARRISON, AR/ 04 August 20/ Arkansas BLM group confronted by armed militia. SIGACT: Local BLM organizer brings roofing torch to protest to dissuade KKK members from counter-protests. Local KKK groups are organizing along the same lines of messaging as the NFAC protests in Louisville, KY.
RECOMMENDATION: Avoid Harrison, Arkansas. It is the historic home of the KKK and new target for regional BLM-affiliates.
