SIGREP: The area encompassing Kansas City and Jackson, Clay and Platte counties in Missouri and Johnson and Wyandotte counties in Kansas gained 556 new cases for a total of 23,861.
On Wednesday, Missouri reported 62,530 cases and 1,323 deaths. The seven-day positive test rate was 11.5%. The overall positive test rate was 7.7%.
Kansas identified 32,547 cases and 395 deaths. The overall positive test rate was 9.7%.
RECOMMENDATION: Being aware of the local virus rates might allow you to make actionable decisions regarding your travel and your family.
