A group known as "Age of Change," is holding a protest against evictions.
SIGACT: Age of Change describes itself as Houston-based organization with the aim of "strengthening the community."
SITREP: The protest is scheduled to begin at 0700 on 21 August. Protesters are asked to assemble at 6000 Chimney Rock Road Houston, Texas
RECOMMENDATION: The protests are in response to evictions that are reportedly set to begin at 0800 and continue throughout the day. The goal of the protest is to "stop" those evictions. The announcement does not say exactly how they plan to stop those evictions. However, the flyer does have a militant raised fist and there is the potential for violence.
The recommendation is to avoid the area around 6000 Chimney Rock Road.
