PROTEST ADVISORY: AUSTIN, TEXAS
A "Drop the Charges/Day of Action" protest is being planned for Austin.
SITREP: The protest's aim is to demonstrate in favor of dropping all charges against any and all people who have been arrested in this summer's protests and riots.
Protesters are asked to meet on Monday, 9/1, at Woodridge Park in Austin, Texas, at 1600. Woodridge Park is located at 900 Guadalupe Street Austin, TX 78701.
RECOMMENDATION: Given the nature of the demonstration and the large number of rioters already in Austin, there's a high probability of violence associated with this event and the recommendation is to avoid the area.
