PROTEST ADVISORY: SAN MARCOS, TEXAS
Black Lives Matter (BLM) is organizing a march to end qualified immunity and defund the police.
SITREP: The demonstrations are set to take place this weekend (9/19, 9/20) and also next weekend (9/26, 9/27). Marchers are scheduled to assemble at 1500 at the Old Courthouse in Downtown San Marcos. Location: 111 E. San Antonio Street San Marcos, Texas 78666
RECOMMENDATION: San Marcos is a university town and as such, is likely to have a large contingent of BLM-supporting students readily available for protest. The recommendation is to avoid Downtown San Marcos over the next two weekends.
